You can meditate deeper than a zen monk - without spending months working at it. You'll go into a meditative state the first time you try these CDs (available as MP3 downloads also). These are from the former CEO of "Deep Brainwaves Inc," and they come with support and a great guarantee (you get to try them out for up to a year and get a refund if you aren't satisfied). Go get the details of the Meditation Program - and listen to the samples while you are at it. Use this link now... |
Which is the best meditation CD out there? I've tried at least six different ones now, and here is what I've found: All of those that use "binaural beats" or whatever they call their form of brainwave entrainment work wonders for for putting me in a relaxed state. The science behind this is solid. The sound or beats put into the music or other background causes your brainwaves to slow down. They put you in a meditative state.
Though the ones I have tried have all been relaxing, there are differences. Here are some more specific things I've noticed about each meditation CD or MP3.
Silva Ultramind - I easily slipped into a relaxed state with the audio they let me try. I didn't go further with their program, though, because they focus too much on the paranormal. I don't actually believe that I'm going to start picking winning lottery numbers and reading minds because of their lessons, so I wasn't too interested.
Holosync - This program from the Centerpointe Research Institute was my favorite for a long time. My wife and I both used their meditation CDs and loved the results. For me it was an interesting experience at first, and later an easy way to relax or meditate. I still use their CDs, and I really like them. My wife found that she was less stressed after a few weeks of using them, and felt more self-aware. We both agreed that they are powerful CDs. They also provide great customer service and support.
What I didn't like was that they were a bit expensive, and after the first level they wanted even more for each subsequent level. By the time you're at the deepest levels of meditation using their CDs, you'll likely spend a couple thousand dollars. Still, due to the quality of their products and support, I don't want to discourage anyone from using them if the want to. You can find out more about them here: Centerpointe Research Institute.
Make Your Own - We bought software that allowed us to embed binaural beats into various music backgrounds. It is a tedious process to learn how to make it work (at least it was for me), and the result was some CDs that were great for putting me to sleep or into a meditative state, but the sound quality was not the greatest. I wouldn't recommend this route unless you like to play with sound and technology.
The Meditation Program - I just recently discovered this source. I bought the downloadable MP3s to save a little money. If you do this, you might choose to skip the "Registration Backup Service". It replaces the audios for up to a year if you lose them. Save the extra fee and just make copies on your computer and onto CDs (they include a link to the Microsoft page that explains how to burn CDs with the Windows Media Player). If you aren't familiar with zip files and downloading audios, just have the CDs sent to you.
What I really like about this program is that you get all levels. No expensive upsells later. You get six CDs or eight MP3 downloads with eight levels. I just listened to a meditation CD from this program today and as it ended I was thinking, "There must be something wrong - it just started a few minutes ago." Then I looked at the clock and saw that an hour had passed. I tend to fall asleep when I use these things laying down, although in this case I didn't think I had been sleeping. In any case, I felt very relaxed. These are just as powerful as my Holosync CDs, and at the moment are my favorites. If you're interested, the box below has the link to the Meditation Program.
Binaural Beats - You can also get quality meditation CDs from Binaural Beats, and they have a decent guarantee. These are sold individually, and start at around $30 or so. If you've never tried a brain wave entrainment product yet because of the cost, check out Binaural Beats, but you may end up wanting to get a more complete program.

This is a set of CDs or MP3s that use the latest brainwave entrainment technologies to put you into a meditative state. There is truly no effort required beyond sitting down and listening. Each session also contains a unique, inspiring soundscape created by composer Michael Anasazi. Powerful stuff, and yes, it really works. (Both my wife and I use these meditation CDs. - Steve) |
